1. Author Warranties

The author(s) warrant that:

  • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously (in whole or in part), and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All named authors have approved the final version and agree to its submission.
  • The manuscript does not infringe any copyright, privacy, or proprietary right of any third party.
  • All necessary permissions for third-party material (e.g., figures, tables, data) have been obtained and attached.
  • The research described meets all applicable ethical standards (e.g., informed consent, IRB approval, and no fabricated data).

2. Copyright Transfer

In consideration of publication in the Journal of Inclusive Development (JID), the author(s) hereby transfer, assign, and convey to the Publisher all exclusive rights of copyright ownership throughout the world in all languages and media (including but not limited to electronic, print, and digital formats) for the full term of copyright and any renewals or extensions thereof.

The Publisher agrees to publish the article under the terms set out in Section 3 (Rights Retained by Author) and Section 4 (Open Access Option).

3. Rights Retained by Author

Notwithstanding the copyright transfer, the author(s) retain the following rights:

  • The right to reproduce and distribute the article for non-commercial educational or research purposes (e.g., posting on a personal or institutional website, in course packs, or in preprint repositories such as SSRN or arXiv), provided the original published source is clearly cited.
  • The right to present the work at academic conferences and distribute printed copies.
  • The right to reuse figures, tables, and data extracts in future works of the author(s), with proper citation.
  • The right to be identified as the author(s) of the article.

The author(s) grant the Publisher the right of first publication and the right to host, preserve, and distribute the article under the CC BY NC-ND 4.0 license.

The article is published under a Creative Commons International Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 (CC BY NC-ND 4.0) license, which allows any user to download and share a work exactly as it is, provided the user gives credit to the creator, but cannot change it in any way or use it commercially.

No Article Processing Charge (APC) will apply as per journal policy.

5. Third-Party Material

The author(s) confirm that any third-party material (including figures, tables, survey instruments, or long quotations) used in the manuscript is either:

  • in the public domain, or
  • used with permission from the copyright holder, with written evidence attached.

The author(s) agree to indemnify the Publisher against any claims arising from unauthorized use of third-party material.

6. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

7. Signatures

All authors must sign. For multi-author works, one author may sign on behalf of others, provided that the signing author has explicit written authorization (e.g., email confirmation) from all co-authors.
