About the Journal

The Journal of Inclusive Development is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Economics at the University of Kalyani. It is dedicated to advancing scholarly knowledge and fostering rigorous dialogue on the theory, practice, and policy of inclusive development across diverse socio-economic and institutional contexts worldwide.

The journal is founded on the conviction that development is meaningful only when its benefits are shared equitably across regions, communities, and social groups—and that realizing this requires sustained inquiry into the structures, institutions, and processes that perpetuate or overcome inequality.

The Journal of Inclusive Development provides a multidisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and development professionals to engage with critical issues related to social inclusion, economic transformation, sustainability, governance, poverty reduction, human capabilities, gender equity, and regional development.
